MA Fashion & Beauty Communication is a specialist postgraduate program for those eager to redefine how fashion and beauty are communicated, experienced and understood in today’s digital-first landscape. Integrating branding, PR, digital media, and cultural storytelling, the course equips you to design compelling campaigns, narratives, and immersive experiences that connect meaningfully with global audiences.
Develop advanced expertise in digital media platforms, influencer and community engagement, experiential marketing, and emerging technologies, anchored in principles of sustainability, inclusivity, and ethical communication.
Through live projects, guest lectures, and optional placements, our students build professional networks and graduate with a portfolio ready to launch careers in PR, brand communications, content strategy, and creative direction across the fashion, beauty, and luxury sectors.
Structure
The MA Fashion and Beauty Communication is delivered in person (London) and offers a full-time (1 year) study program. Students begin their classes in the fall and follow the sequence of classes and subject areas.
Set within a vibrant campus community, the program offers access to industry-standard facilities, expert tutors, and live briefs with industry fashion and media partners, reflecting the dynamic pace of contemporary fashion content production.

Complete the course across three semesters:
- Semester 1: Gain an understanding of the dynamic field of fashion and beauty communication, exploring the power of visual storytelling, brand narratives, and consumer insights.
- Semester 2: Advance your communication and marketing practice through industry led projects and live briefs.
- Semester 3: Undertake a self-directed Final Master’s Project that reflects their personal style, conceptual thinking, and professional goals.

Modules
The MA Fashion and Beauty Communication course prepares students to become confident, forward-thinking communicators who can lead and inspire within this evolving landscape.
Students will gain hands on expertise in PR, digital platforms, influencer and community management, and experiential marketing, learning how to build meaningful connections between brands and audiences.
Semester 1: Foundation & Critical Frameworks
The program introduction lays the groundwork for understanding how style, image-making, and creative messaging operate within broader cultural and professional contexts.
Students will engage in a contextual study of the fashion and beauty industries, examining their historical development, current trends, and future directions.
Through this exploration, they will consider how cultural, and social factors influence and shape consumer perception. A central component of the course focuses on developing critical research methods and analytical thinking.
Semester 2: Application, Experimentation & Industry Insight
The semester focuses on developing a distinctive creative identity, testing communication strategies, and translating conceptual ideas into compelling, industry-relevant outputs.
Students will explore strategic communication and brand narratives, learning how to craft sophisticated and resonant stories for fashion and beauty brands.
Through a combination of lectures and seminars, they will study advanced storytelling techniques including brand positioning, tone of voice, visual language, and emotional engagement to shape narratives that connect meaningfully with diverse audiences.
Emphasis will be placed on crafting integrated campaigns and content strategies designed for multiple platforms, from traditional print and editorial formats to dynamic digital, social, and experiential spaces.
Semester 3: Final Major Project
Your final semester focuses on creative independence and professional positioning. You’ll realise an original body of work that reflects your identity and ambitions, supported by personalised mentorship and critical feedback.

Expect to dedicate approximately 20–25 hours per week, including:
- 8–10 app hours of on-campus lectures, workshops, seminars, and practical studio sessions
- 12–15 hours of independent research, production, and portfolio development

Accrediting Body & Award Structure
This program holds international recognition as a degree qualification accredited and conferred by The University of Buckingham. It is structured as four 10-week terms spread across one academic year at RQF level 7. The program combines academic rigor and industry engagement with practical and professional skills, drawing on the expertise of Vogue’s wide network of industry professionals.
Credits
The degree carries a value of 180 credits within the UK’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) at level 7, equivalent to 90 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits.

Deposit Payment & Instalment Options
To secure your place on the course, a deposit of £1,500 is required within 14 days of receiving your offer. Please note, the deposit option is unavailable for bookings made within six weeks of the course start date where full course fees are required.
Students have the option to pay the tuition fee in instalments over the duration of the course. International students are required to pay the first instalment of the course fee in full and in advance to obtain the CAS number necessary for Student Visa purposes.
Instalments
In order to confirm and secure a place on this course, students will be asked to pay a deposit in the amount of £1,500 at the point of receiving an offer from us.
Home students can pay the tuition fee in instalments throughout the year.
International students will be asked to pay their first instalment of the course fee before they start at the College and prior to the issue of a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).

Scholarships, Bursaries, & Student Loans
Vogue College of Fashion offers a limited number of partial tuition merit scholarships to selected Home and International Students. After submitting an admissions application, applicants will receive an automated message from the Admissions Team with a link to apply for a merit scholarship. Merit scholarship applications must be submitted by 15 March 2026 and will be reviewed after this date.
