Finding Accommodation as a Vogue College Student
While Vogue College does not operate its own halls of residence, our Admissions and Student Services teams can provide guidance on accommodation searches and settling into London.
Our students take advantage of the many options London has to offer. Students typically opt for private lets, considering location, budget, and lifestyle – but where do you start? We’ve compiled some information on this page to help you get started.
Please note that the College does not book accommodation on behalf of students, nor endorse particular properties or providers over others. It us up to you to visit and assess accommodation suitability prior to making any financial commitment.
Be prepared to provide a copy of your passport, an offer letter from the College, a bank statement, and occasionally a guarantor.
Accommodation search timeline
Below is a suggested timeline for researching your accommodation options:
- 6-8 months before course start: Research options and budgets
- 3-4 months before course start: Contact providers and arrange viewings
- 1-2 months before course start: Secure accommodation and finalise travel plans
Everyone’s journey is different, however, so don’t panic if you’re not quite there yet!
London is a large city, and many providers will have rooms available – even for late applicants.
Typical Cost Ranges
Costs will vary across different providers, and depend greatly on what kind of accommodation you decide to opt for. An en-suite studio, for example, will generally cost more than a room in a flat with shared facilities.
Bear in mind that some providers will include certain costs in their fees, while others will not, so it pays to look around and understand exactly what you’re getting for your money.

Travel To The College
When considering where to live, it’s worth looking at travel time and costs. The College is located in Zone 1. While TfL does offer generous discounts for students, travel costs can add up if you end up living too far away from campus.
