The MA Content Creation & Production is a future-facing fashion media master’s degree designed for the next generation of storytellers, producers, and creative strategists.
Students learn to design, produce, and direct high-impact multimedia content, from fashion films and branded campaigns to immersive AR/VR experiences and social storytelling. The program blends creativity, strategy, and technical expertise, preparing graduates to lead in a content-driven, digitally connected world.
Balancing artistic experimentation with real-world industry experience, students will collaborate with professionals, respond to live briefs and build a distinctive creative portfolio that positions them at the forefront of fashion media, content direction and brand communication.

Structure
The MA Fashion Content Creation & Production is delivered in person, providing an immersive, studio-based learning environment that fosters creativity, experimentation, and collaboration.
Set within a vibrant campus community, the program offers access to industry-standard facilities, expert tutors, and live briefs with industry fashion and media partners, reflecting the dynamic pace of contemporary fashion content production.
The program offers a full-time (1 year) study.
Complete the course across three semesters:
- Semester 1: Develop your creative foundations, visual storytelling, content creation, and consumer insight.
- Semester 2: Advance your production skills and strategic understanding through live projects and industry collaboration.
- Semester 3: Realise your Final Master’s Project and curate a professional portfolio that reflects your unique creative identity.
Learning Experience

Semester 1: Creative Foundations & Narrative Development
Lay the foundations for advanced creative practice through fashion storytelling, content creation & curation, creative production, visual communication and audience insight.
Creative Direction and Visual Storytelling
Translate ideas into powerful visual narratives that express fashion and brand identity and engage contemporary audiences. Develop skills in concept generation, campaign design, editorial development, and creative leadership.
Cross-Platform Content Strategy and Production
Develop the creative and technical fluency to produce narrative content across multiple formats, from video and podcasting to short-form social and immersive media. Learn how to adapt your visual voice to suit diverse audiences and platforms.
Consumer Behaviour in Fashion
Explore the motivations, trends, and cultural dynamics that influence how audiences engage with fashion. Learn to research and analyse consumer insights, applying your findings to create content strategies that resonate globally.
Emerging Media Technologies (AI, AR/VR, Interactive Tools)
Experiment with contemporary technologies that are transforming creative production. Use AI-assisted editing, virtual shoots, and interactive storytelling tools to push innovation in fashion storytelling.
Semester 2: Advanced Production & Industry Application
Build on your creative foundation through professional practice and live collaboration.
Editorial Production and Branded Content Development
Explore editorial storytelling and commercial content communication. Develop projects that merge creativity with strategy, balancing artistic vision with business objectives.
Sustainability, Representation, and Ethical Storytelling
Explore responsible and inclusive approaches to content creation. Consider how ethics, diversity, and sustainability shape the way fashion stories are told and consumed.
Fashion Consultancy, Creativity & Innovation (Industry Collaboration & Professional Practice)
Collaborate with a leading fashion or luxury brand on a live brief as part of your fashion consultancy brief working in creative teams, you’ll develop and pitch strategic concepts directly to the client for a 360 degree campaign, gaining first-hand experience of professional workflows, innovation management, aligned to creative content and fashion production.
Semester 3: Final Major Project & Portfolio Showcase
Your final semester focuses on creative independence and professional positioning. You’ll realise an original body of work that reflects your creative identity and ambitions, supported by personalised mentorship and critical feedback.
Final Master’s Project
Undertake a self-directed, research-informed project that demonstrates your creative, technical, and strategic abilities within a real-world context.
Portfolio Development & Industry Readiness
Curate a professional portfolio that highlights your creative direction and content production expertise. Focus on personal branding, presentation, and career development to prepare for success in the global fashion, media, and creative industries.
You’ll graduate as a confident, multi-skilled content creator, capable of conceptualising, producing, and leading immersive and experiential physical and digital innovative fashion media projects.

Time Commitment
Expect to dedicate approximately 20–25 hours per week, including:
- 8–10 app hours of on-campus lectures, workshops, seminars, and practical studio sessions
- 12–15 hours of independent research, production, and portfolio development
Accreditation
Accrediting Body & Award Structure
Subject to validation, this program will hold international recognition as a degree qualification accredited and conferred by The University of Buckingham. It is structured as four 10-week terms spread across one academic year at RQF level 7. The program combines academic rigor and industry engagement with practical and professional skills, drawing on the expertise of Vogue’s wide network of industry professionals.
Credits
The degree carries a value of 180 credits within the UK’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) at level 7, equivalent to 90 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits.

Deposit Payment & Instalment Options
To secure your place on the course, a deposit of £1,500 is required within 14 days of receiving your offer. Please note, the deposit option is unavailable for bookings made within six weeks of the course start date where full course fees are required.
Students have the option to pay the tuition fee in instalments over the duration of the course. International students are required to pay the first instalment of the course fee in full and in advance to obtain the CAS number necessary for Student Visa purposes.
Instalments
In order to confirm and secure a place on this course, students will be asked to pay a deposit in the amount of £1,500 at the point of receiving an offer from us.
Home students can pay the tuition fee in instalments throughout the year.
International students will be asked to pay their first instalment of the course fee before they start at the College and prior to the issue of a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).

Scholarships, Bursaries, & Student Loans
Vogue College of Fashion offers a range of partial tuition merit scholarships. After submitting an application, the admissions team will reach out with details to apply for a scholarship.
