Johannes Reponen
Global Academic Director
Dr Johannes Reponen is a scholar, critic, and consultant specialising in fashion communication, media, and writing. He currently serves as the Global Academic Director at Vogue College of Fashion and previously led MA programs at the London College of Fashion.
Johannes contributes to leading fashion and design publications such as Highsnobiety, Vestoj, MacGuffin, Press & Fold, and Dazed. He co-edited Insights on Fashion Journalism (2022) with Dr Rosie Findlay and is now co-editing a book on sustainability and fashion media with Dr Findlay and Dr Morna Laing. Johannes holds a Master’s degree in design criticism, and his doctoral research explored independent fashion publishing and critical practice.
