Vogue Summer School immerses high school students in the heart of the global fashion capital, New York City. Combining classroom learning with real-world exposure, our two-week pre-college program offers unrivaled access to designer studios, flagship stores, galleries and industry headquarters.

Students explore fashion business, media, styling and communication through hands-on projects while learning directly from leading industry experts at Vogue and Condé Nast.

Academic Structure and Daily Schedule

Each course is taught over a two-week period and supports individualized instruction, meaningful discussion and active participation.

A Typical Academic Day

  • 7:00am-9:00am: Breakfast (residential students)
  • 9:30am-12:30pm: Academic Morning Session​
  • 12:30pm-1:30pm: Lunch (all students)
  • 1:30pm-4:30pm: Academic Afternoon Session  
  • 4:30pm-6:00pm: Homework and Dinner (residential students)  
  • 6:00pm-9:00pm: Co-Curricular Events/Residential Life Programming  
  • 9:30pm: Curfew (Sun-Thu), 10:00pm: Curfew (Fri-Sat) 
  • 10:00pm: Bed Checks (Sun-Thu), 10:30pm: Bed Checks (Fri-Sat)

Coursework may include the production of mock mini-issues, content creation, conceptualizing and pitching a business idea, strategizing multi-media campaigns and collaborative group projects.

Residential Life at Pace University

Residential students live at Pace University’s Financial District campus, located in the heart of Manhattan.

Dorm Accommodations

  • Double, triple or quad rooms
  • Students are typically roomed according to age/grade and the self-identified gender listed in their Program Form. Assignments are finalized before arrival and shared at check-in, not before.
  • Students may meet family off campus during free time. Parents are not permitted in residence halls.

Travel

  • The Vogue Summer School campus is accessible from JFK, LaGuardia and Newark airports. Taxis, ride shares (e.g. Uber Teen) and public transit are available. Check airline and transit policies for unaccompanied minors.

Facilities

  • Dining halls are able to accommodate a range of dietary restrictions.
  • Our housing facility does NOT provide bedding. Please make sure you consider bringing: bedding (XL Twin sheet, blanket/duvet, pillow, pillowcase), bath towel and toiletries.

Safety, Supervision and Support

Student wellbeing is a central priority for every member of staff. The program structure allows students to experience independence while remaining in a carefully supervised environment.

  • All classes and activities are fully supervised, with residential staff and security available 24/7.
  • Students may explore the city with an approved buddy, following established procedures.
  • All staff have completed thorough background checks and specialist safeguarding training, ensuring a safe and supportive experience throughout the program.
  • Staff are trained to handle emergencies in line with our mental health safety plans. A live-in nurse is available for medical support.

Activities, Evenings and Exploring the City

Beyond the classroom, students are immersed into the culture, creativity and global influence of New York City through curated cocurricular activities that bring their learning to life.

Examples of Activities:

  • Neighborhood explorations and walking tours
  • Cultural landmarks such as the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty
  • Industry speaker series
  • Cultural activities including film nights and bookstore crawls

Participation is encouraged but optional. Day students are welcome to participate, though attendance is not required.

Admissions and Tuition

Eligibility  

  • The program is open to rising high school students (grades 10-12) and graduating seniors. Students must be 15 years old by the first day of the program.
  • Admissions decisions are made through a holistic review process.
  • All students applying to Vogue Summer School for the first time are required to complete an online application. Returning students do not need to reapply.

Tuition

  • Residential Program: Tuition, housing, meals and activities included
  • Day Program: Tuition and daily lunch included
  • A materials fee applies to all students

Financial Aid

We believe financial circumstances should not be a barrier to world-class, pre-college education.

  • Flexible payment plans are available to all families.
  • To be considered for our Scholarship Program, students must submit a completed program application followed by a scholarship application.
  • Scholarships are limited and disbursed on a first-applied, first-awarded basis. We encourage students to apply as soon as possible.
