Raquel Laneri

Raquel was a features writer at the New York Post for four years, where she covered New York Fashion Week, the Met Gala, the Whitney Biennial, and other cultural happenings. Her articles have appeared in The New York Post, the New York and London Times, The Washington Post, Artnet, Bustle, The New Inquiry, and more.

She teaches fashion journalism at Parsons – The New School and has led writing workshops and spoken on journalism panels at Syracuse University, Columbia University, and the University of Michigan.

She has an MA in Arts Journalism from Syracuse University and a BA in English from the University of Michigan, where she started the student newspaper’s first fashion column. She has previously taught at both Vogue School and The School of The New York Times.
