Maite Sebastiá has more than 15 years of experience in fashion communications and lifestyle publishing. She holds a master’s degree in Cultural Management from La Fábrica in Madrid and has completed additional studies in Digital Marketing at Central Saint Martins in London and Art Business Management at Sotheby’s in London. She began her career as a fashion editor at Vogue Spain in 2004 and has been an integral part of Condé Nast ever since. One of her most recent positions was Deputy Editor of Vogue Spain.

Sebastiá is the founder and director of FASHION NOW, the MA in Fashion Marketing and Communication at Barreira Art + Design. In January 2020, she curated The Hope of the West, an exhibition featuring the work of Spanish artists Íñigo Navarro and Luis Gaspar. Her passion for architecture and the art world has led her to interview leading architects, artists, and designers, including Rem Koolhaas, Richard Rogers, Jonathan Anderson, Giorgio Armani, Paloma Picasso, Olafur Eliasson, and Stella McCartney. She is also a frequent speaker at conferences and industry events such as WOMEN NOW, a conference on women’s leadership and empowerment supported by Banco Santander.
