Kyinat Motla is Program Leader for the MA Content Creation and Production at Vogue College of Fashion. She leads the development and delivery of a postgraduate program that operates at the intersection of creative expression, identity, experimentation, play, innovation and industry knowledge, supporting students in the production of original, critically engaged and culturally resonant work.
Prior to joining Vogue College of Fashion, Kyinat worked as a Senior Lecturer on the BA (Hons.) Fashion Styling and Production program at London College of Fashion, where she led large student cohorts, managed multidisciplinary teams and contributed to curriculum development and program revalidation. Her pedagogical approach is grounded in inclusive and pluralistic perspectives on fashion and media, fostering sensory modes of storytelling across both digital and physical platforms.
Kyinat has a BFA in Integrated Design from Parsons The New School for Design and an MA in Filmmaking. She also holds a PgCert in Art, Design and Communication and an MA in Academic Practice from University of the Arts London. Her research centers on the enhancement of student experience through innovative approaches to teaching and learning, with a particular emphasis on sensory play and game-based methodologies. She is also interested in the exploration of the self as a cultural site and generative muse for creative inquiry and development.
As Program Leader, she is committed to cultivating meaningful connections between education and industry through live briefs, strategic partnerships and cross-disciplinary collaboration. She fosters a supportive and critically engaged learning environment in which students are encouraged to take creative risks, develop a distinct sense of authorship and navigate the evolving landscape of content creation with confidence and reflexivity.
