Caryn Pang, Ph.D. is a fashion business educator, industry strategist, and co-founder of Fashion Friends Collective with over 15 years of retail executive experience spanning Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Macy’s.

She holds a Ph.D. in consumer behavior, with research focused on cross-cultural consumer behavior, and currently teaches at Parsons School of Design and Hult International Business School, where she brings her expertise in marketing, branding, and fashion management into the classroom.

A 2024 TEDx speaker, three-time SXSW speaker (2024–2026), and recipient of Boston’s ExtraOrdinary Women Award, Dr. Pang is recognized for her ability to bridge the gap
between industry practice and academic rigor. Her insights have been featured in leading publications including Forbes and WWD. Her work equips the next generation of fashion professionals with the strategic tools and creative thinking needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

With a commitment to fostering community and innovation in the fashion industry, Dr. Pang continues to shape the conversation around fashion business education through her
teaching, speaking, and entrepreneurial ventures.
