Structure
This four-week programme offers a thorough and extensive introduction to fashion media. Engage in lectures and workshops to gain insights from industry professionals and apply your knowledge to practical projects.
Week 1: Introduction to Fashion Media
During the first week, we will induct students to the College and introduce the course content and team project that will be completed during the course. Other key topics include:

Week 2: Creative Practice in Fashion & Styling
The focus is on creative practice in fashion and styling – considering key influences on fashion and identifying the wider macro-environmental trends shaping tastes and consumer behaviour. Other key topics include:
- Trend analysis
- The influence of the street style
- Still-life styling
- Creating mood boards
Week 3: Fashion Story Telling
During week 3, the focus is on learning about fashion journalism and storytelling across print, digital and social media. During this week, students will also learn about the visual language of fashion media. Other key topics include:

- Magazine branding & creating covers
- PR & the media
- Content creation & social media
Week 4: The Business of Fashion Media
The final week will focus on completing and presenting a course assignment as well as working in teams on a studio-based shoot, alongside photographers and other creative professionals. Other key topics include:

Accrediting Body & Award Structure
This programme is accredited and conferred by The University of Buckingham. It is a four-week course at RQF level 4, combining academic theory with practical industry insights and leveraging Vogue’s extensive network.
Credits
The course is worth 15 credits within the UK’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) at level 4, equivalent to 7.5 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits.
