Vogue Summer Program: Fashion Business is an accredited four-week summer program in New York which introduces undergraduate-level students to the world of fashion business. Through an immersive curriculum and exploration of New York’s fashion scene, you’ll learn about the core aspects of the industry and put your knowledge into practice in a final project that showcases your skills and insights.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to run a successful fashion business by exploring brand development, marketing strategies, operational management and entrepreneurship. Understand the key components of brand strategy by learning how to build and maintain a distinctive identity in today’s competitive market.

Studying in New York City, one of the fashion capitals of the world, adds a dynamic dimension to your learning. Surrounded by iconic brands, cultural institutions and industry events, you’ll experience firsthand how the fashion business operates in a global hub of creativity and commerce.

Through hands-on workshops, case studies and guest lectures led by industry leaders, you’ll develop practical skills in marketing and promotion, mastering both digital and traditional channels to reach and engage audiences.

You will also complete a final project, applying everything you’ve learned in a real-world context. This practical focus ensures you not only understand key concepts but also apply them to tangible projects and portfolios of work.

By the end of the course, you’ll have built a strong foundation in fashion business and strategy—combined with the inspiration of living and studying in New York City—equipping you with the skills, experience and confidence to take your first steps toward a career in the fashion industry.

Vogue Summer Program is an immersive program designed around weekly themes that sharpen your focus and enrich your studies. Delivered by experienced industry professionals, the curriculum offers a diverse lineup of lectures that bring valuable industry insights, coupled with hands-on workshops to help you build essential practical skills.

To further enhance your learning experience, the program incorporates site visits to top fashion institutions, transforming New York into a classroom where you’ll explore relevant cultural and industry sites firsthand.

Accreditation

Domestic (U.S.) students will be eligible to earn academic credit upon completion of the program. All courses are accredited for 4 US credits through a U.S. accrediting body.

This program contains tasks, experiences and opportunities designed to equip you with the essential skills, knowledge and practice crucial for building a successful career in fashion from personal development to professional practice.

Within the course content, there will be many career and professional development elements and activities available to you such as meeting industry professionals, learning about different career journeys and understanding potential careers opportunities withing fashion media.

Optional Accommodation

A limited number of accommodations will be available for students attending the program for an additional fee.

Accommodation in New York City consists of a space within a multi-occupancy room with a bathroom and access to shared facilities including kitchens and common areas. Vogue College of Fashion partners with a private student accommodation in Manhattan, and students are within easy traveling distance to their classrooms as well as other opportunities to explore Manhattan.

International Students

Vogue College of Fashion welcomes international students, fostering a dynamic, diverse learning environment. With students from various countries, our campus reflects Vogue’s global perspective and encourages cultural exchange.

Admissions

We seek applicants with a passion for fashion, media and luxury lifestyle industries, ready to make an impact on the future of fashion. This course is open to applicants at least 18 years old by the beginning of the program and currently enrolled in, or considering enrolling in, an undergraduate university program.

Applying students are required to have a minimum 2.5 GPA or equivalent and will need to upload an unofficial copy of their most current university transcript as well as provide a short personal statement detailing their interest in the program. For non-native English speakers, a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL score of 78 IBT is required.

The program is suitable for students studying a wide range of major subjects across, humanities, arts, fashion and business.
