Vogue Social Media Marketing for Fashion
Learn how to design a fashion brand’s social media strategy, from content and community building to measurable results.
In fashion, social media is no longer just a showcase. It is the search engine where customers discover products, the space where they decide whether a brand resonates with them, and increasingly, the store where they complete a purchase without ever leaving the app. This online Fashion Social Media Marketing course teaches you how to thrive in that environment.
You will learn how to build a fashion and luxury brand’s presence on social media, understand how the content that supports it is created, and measure whether it is delivering results. The course is taught in Spanish, fully online, and designed to fit around your schedule.
It is equally valuable for those just starting out and for professionals already working in the industry.
If you already manage social media, you will find an up-to-date perspective on the areas that have evolved most rapidly: in-platform search, the day-to-day application of artificial intelligence, and social commerce within the platforms themselves.
By the end of the course, you will be able to audit a fashion brand’s social media account and identify what is not working and why; build a content strategy supported by an actionable editorial calendar; make informed decisions about which creators to collaborate with and which to avoid; and develop a measurement framework where every metric informs a clear business decision. You will also understand where artificial intelligence can add value to this work, where it should be used with caution, and how to disclose its use, a legal requirement across Europe from 2026.

Structure
The programme runs over three months and is structured into ten units, organised into two blocks: five covering core foundations and five focused on individual social media platforms.
The course combines self-paced learning with live online sessions led by industry professionals and platform specialists working both in-house for brands and within agencies. All sessions are recorded and remain available on the learning platform.
Each unit concludes with an assessment, and throughout the programme students complete three practical assignments with personalised feedback from their tutor.
These assignments evaluate the skills required in a professional setting, including analysing a fashion brand and positioning it within its market, interpreting social media metrics and turning data into informed business decisions, and developing a content strategy complete with an editorial calendar and performance dashboard. Students are expected to justify every recommendation with a clear rationale and present their ideas in a professional and compelling way.
The third and final assignment serves as the capstone project and must be successfully completed in order to obtain the certificate.
The course is designed for anyone looking to build a career in fashion marketing or work as a community manager within the industry; professionals already working in communications or social media who want to update their skills; and content creators seeking to manage their personal brand with a more strategic and professional approach.
No previous qualifications or professional experience are required.
Fundamentals
Five units designed to build strategic thinking: how today’s fashion consumers make purchasing decisions, how to measure performance on social media, how owned, paid and earned media work together, and how to develop an effective digital strategy.
The programme also covers the three key environments where fashion is discovered today, Google, social media platforms and AI-powered search engines, alongside social commerce and a practical introduction to artificial intelligence and augmented reality applications within the fashion industry.
Specific
Of the ten units, five are dedicated exclusively to their respective platforms and disciplines:
- Influencer Marketing and Social Media Advertising: collaboration models, potential risks, and the current regulatory landscape.
- X: understanding the platform as a space for public conversation.
- Instagram and Facebook: navigating the Meta ecosystem, from visual identity and content creation to performance analytics.
- TikTok: a comprehensive exploration of the platform, including its algorithm, content formats, TikTok SEO, Ads, and TikTok Shop.
- YouTube: the world’s second-largest search engine, covering SEO, content production, and audiovisual storytelling.
Each unit focuses on what success looks like on that platform, which formats are prioritised by its algorithm, and how to turn performance data into informed strategic decisions.
