Could you share a little about your background and current work?

My passion for advertising and communication strategies emerged early, leading me to pursue a high school specialization in commercial services with an emphasis on advertising and promotion. There, I gained practical exposure to the creative processes, tools and strategic approaches brands rely on to shape their positioning.

This early experience naturally evolved into a degree in communication, where I developed a deeper, more conceptual understanding of media, marketing, branding and strategic communication.

What made you choose Vogue College of Fashion for your studies?

I was looking for a course that could truly expand my knowledge and expertise, and the reputation of Vogue College of Fashion immediately inspired confidence. What struck me from the start was the way practical application is seamlessly integrated into each lesson, allowing concepts to come alive.

The online format was another great advantage. Living in Milan, I was able to join an international classroom and engage with a highly specialized, globally focused curriculum.

I also wanted to challenge myself by taking a course entirely in English—an opportunity to improve my language skills and fully immerse myself in a more global perspective.

Which course did you enroll in and why?

Choosing the right course was a challenge as there were so many exciting options. In the end, I decided to enroll in Vogue Fashion Branding & Communication. I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of how and why brands make strategic decisions to remain relevant in a rapidly-evolving market.

The course offered the ideal opportunity to explore the strategies behind successful campaigns and to better understand how fashion brands adapt, innovate and thrive within an increasingly dynamic industry.

What was your experience like participating in the course?

If I had to describe the experience in one word, it would definitely be “stimulating.” Each lesson had a different focus, covering everything from foundational principles to emerging trends. Topics ranged from social media and customer journey mapping to brand cohesion, collaborations, storytelling and forecasting.

It’s immediately evident how passionate each professional involved in the course is; their enthusiasm is truly contagious and makes the learning experience incredibly engaging.

One of the course’s greatest strengths was the live sessions led by the course director. These sessions created valuable opportunities to connect with fellow participants, exchange ideas and engage in meaningful discussions. The sense of community they fostered made the overall experience even more enriching.

Can you share an example of an assignment that you particularly enjoyed?

One assignment I particularly enjoyed was building a comprehensive customer journey map. I analyzed how a fashion brand structures its communication and experience strategy across multiple touchpoints, including social media, website, newsletters, mobile app and pop-up stores.

Through this project, I explored how brand identity, values and storytelling are translated into channel-specific content while maintaining visual and narrative coherence.

The project involved mapping the different stages of audience interaction and defining the strategic role of each touchpoint. We also evaluated how engagement tools such as user-generated content and personalized experiences strengthen brand connection.

The assignment gave me a much deeper understanding of omnichannel architecture and how effective communication is not just about visibility, but about designing a consistent, emotionally resonant ecosystem around the customer experience.

What were the most valuable skills you gained during the course?

One of the most valuable aspects of the course was its emphasis on developing both hard and soft skills.

From a technical perspective, I learned to look beyond surface-level communication and identify the strategic thinking behind brand messaging. The course also strengthened my ability to structure ideas clearly and approach projects with a solid strategic and organizational framework.

At the same time, I was encouraged to cultivate a proactive mindset and learned to stay curious, engaged and solution-oriented throughout the creative process.

How has the program contributed to your growth, either professionally or academically?

The program significantly strengthened my confidence in my own abilities and brought greater structure to the skills I had already begun developing. It felt like completing my professional toolkit in a precise and highly practical way.

Most importantly, it helped me build a more strategic, big-picture view of fashion branding and communication.

A particularly valuable outcome was building a complete portfolio of projects by the end of the course, which allowed me to translate what I learned into concrete work and a professional presentation of my skills.
