Tell us a bit about yourself and your background.

My first encounter with the fashion industry came when I was invited to model for local magazine covers and editorial photo shoots. From that moment on, I felt a special connection to this world. I studied Industrial Design, a degree that perfectly complemented my passion for aesthetics and design. Later, I lived in Florence, Italy—an experience that broadened my personal and stylistic horizons.

Today, I work as an editor at CHARMlife, a Mexican magazine with a social and editorial focus. My role includes everything from the creative concept for each cover to full-scale production. I coordinate the team of collaborators, styling, makeup, hair, location scouting, and jewelry selection, ensuring each edition offers a unique visual and editorial experience. I also oversee the print edition, where we showcase the best of the local social scene, current trends, and commercial features.

How did you find us?

I’ve been following Vogue College of Fashion Spain on social media for quite some time, along with their website and various projects, which have always inspired me. When I discovered they offered online courses, I was immediately interested. After doing more research, I didn’t hesitate to enroll. It was the perfect opportunity to continue my professional development without stepping away from my work responsibilities.

Which online course did you take?

The Vogue Online Course in Styling and Personal Shopping.

What did you gain from the course?

I gained a wide range of tools that helped me take the first steps toward launching my own business, offering styling and personal shopping services. From a young age, I’ve had a deep love for fashion and a passion for expressing myself through the way I dress—something that has always been a constant in my life.

Turning that passion into a professional service, backed by expert training, has been incredibly rewarding. Helping people discover their style, identify what truly suits them, and feel better about themselves is one of the most fulfilling parts of this journey. After all, everything we choose to wear is a powerful form of expression. And being able to generate income doing what I love makes the effort even more worthwhile.

Which instructor or session stood out to you?

Although it’s hard to choose just one, I’d highlight Patricia López and Nuala Phillips. Patricia, as a tutor and stylist for Vogue Spain, brought a creative and hands-on approach that deeply inspired me. Her perspective on styling and her professional journey really resonated with me. Meanwhile, Nuala’s editorial insight and experience helped me understand the power of narrative in fashion. Both left a lasting impression—not only for their expertise but also because I genuinely connected with their vision and approach to the industry.

What did you enjoy the most?

I loved learning from experts—not only for the new insights I gained, but also because I saw myself reflected in much of the content. As a magazine editor, many of the tools and ideas were already part of my day-to-day, but this course helped refine them and gave me a more professional perspective. At the same time, I discovered entirely new concepts that I now apply both in my current job and in my own business.

If you were to take another course, which would it be?
