Tell us a bit about yourself and your background

I hold a degree in Communications, with a specialization in advertising and marketing. My professional career began as a television presenter in the entertainment industry in El Salvador, where I also worked as a radio host at EXA FM, an international youth-focused radio network in Latin America.

I then made the leap into the world of social media, focusing on creating content around Latin American fashion and lifestyle, while also venturing into entrepreneurship by founding my specialty coffee brand, Costa Piera .

We currently sell specialty coffee from El Salvador, a coffee-producing country, and we are proud to have Central America’s first robot barista, which prepares specialty coffee beverages with the precision of a human barista. It is located at Plaza Universitaria, in the heart of San Salvador’s historic downtown.

I also work as a host for fashion events.

How did you first hear about us?

While searching online, I came across Vogue College of Fashion. I have always been passionate about fashion—in fact, I would love to have my own brand one day—as well as social media, which plays a fundamental role in my day-to-day work.

In addition to leading my specialty coffee brand, I wanted to deepen my knowledge of digital marketing to continue driving its growth. It was that combination of interests and professional goals that led me to discover this learning opportunity.

Which course did you take?

I completed the Vogue Online Course in Digital Marketing and Communication for Fashion and Luxury.

What did the course bring to you?

It has taught me the importance of evaluating a campaign using the right metrics rather than relying solely on a creative idea. I have learned to give equal weight to creativity and data, understanding that numbers are a key tool for making better decisions, measuring whether objectives are being met, and analyzing business profitability.

It has also given me the opportunity to gain an inside perspective on how the luxury industry operates and to understand the strategies behind some of the world’s most successful brands, guided by professionals who are deeply immersed in the sector.

Which professor or session would you highlight? What did you enjoy the most?

I would highlight Susana Ibañez, the course tutor. Beyond her extensive experience, I really appreciate her dynamic and engaging teaching style. That combination of expert knowledge and fast-paced, interactive sessions is what I enjoyed most about the program.

If you were to take another course, which one would you choose?

I would love to explore fashion journalism, fashion styling, or fashion design.

Why would you recommend Vogue College of Fashion’s online courses?

Because they adapt perfectly to a working schedule, no matter where you are in the world. They also provide access to valuable insights into leading global luxury houses and offer dynamic, highly engaging sessions.
