There is a wide variety of reasons why studying fashion is an excellent choice: it is one of the most vibrant industries, rooted in a rich ethnographic study; it is the ideal space for creative minds; (from a more practical perspective) it is the most effective way to turn your favorite passion into a profession; or simply because you never know when you—my dear Andrea Sachs, still unknown—might end up starring in a film alongside Meryl Streep. Our master’s students, each with their own motivation, have already chosen to trust Vogue College of Fashion to step into the world of fashion, and on March 18, they experienced the 2026 edition of Vogue Fashion & Beauty Career Forum: the ultimate day that shapes your professional future.

This event, organized by the Careers and Internships Department at Vogue College of Fashion, has a very clear goal: to provide the perfect meeting point between talent and the fashion industry. Students from all Vogue master’s programs attended an event divided into two networking sessions with experienced industry leaders and some of the most influential companies in the fields of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.

Session 1: talks, advice, and a round table

In the morning, students became the very embodiment of attentive eyes and open ears. Susana Ibáñez, Head of Careers at Vogue College of Fashion, welcomed all attendees and introduced this exciting day.

The floor was then taken by the team from Comm Media Group, a communications and PR agency specializing in influencer marketing and social media, working with luxury brands. Rebeca Muinelo, Partner and Head of Influencers, and Diana Beinat, Director of Communications and Public Relations, explained the types of strategies they develop with leading brands in the sector and the professional skills that can help you succeed in this field of communication.

To conclude, the morning closed with a round table in which Marina Peñalver, Senior Digital Editor at AD, led a conversation with Marta Troncoso and Clara López, two alumni who reflected different career paths within the same field. A talk that brought students closer to their current reality.

Session 2: networking with 12 of the top companies in the industry

After a lunch break, the event moved to the College, located in the Condé Nast España building. The time for watching, listening, and taking notes was over, and it was now time for the DIY (Do It Yourself) experience that students had been eagerly awaiting: putting into practice all the tips learned in the morning through a networking session with leading companies.

These companies included:

Global leaders in media and digital, audiovisual, and print content creation such as Condé Nast; LVMH, an emblem of luxury with a unique heritage in fashion, leather goods, perfumery, and lifestyle; leading companies operating in beauty and fragrances such as Shiseido, PYD, and Farlabo; prominent international fashion brands such as Massimo Dutti and Primark; jewelry houses with more than 80 years of tradition such as Grupo Suárez & Aristocrazy; communication experts such as Comm Media Group; recruitment specialists such as Michael Page & Page Personnel; the icon of luxury hospitality in Madrid, Rosewood Villamagna; and Multiópticas, a key player in the Spanish optical sector.

Students had the opportunity to meet and speak with talent teams and recruiters from these companies, exploring different career paths, learning how and when they usually publish job openings, and gaining very valuable advice.

In addition, the lens of Flavio Orsolato, a professional photographer who works for several Condé Nast España titles, captured portraits of all students who wished to have a professional photo for their CV.

But as it wasn’t all about talking, Anaconda Foods added a touch of enjoyment to the afternoon with their delicious popcorn—because it’s impossible to face your future on an empty stomach.
