“We were able to live many luxury experiences thanks to visits and getting to know this sector very closely”

Why did you decide to pursue a Vogue Master’s at the Vogue College?

When I graduated, I was researching various master’s programs related to fashion and beauty, communication and marketing, etc. However, I wanted to perfect my English abroad first, and it wasn’t until I returned from the UK that I enrolled. I chose it because I wanted to receive training from industry professionals, learn about real cases firsthand, and have access to the best companies and brands when it came time for my internship.

How was your experience during the course?

My experience was excellent, in addition to all the professionals we had access to daily in the classes, experts in the luxury sector, fashion history, branding, communication, editors and magazine directors, and a long etcetera, we were able to live many luxury experiences thanks to visits and getting to know this sector very closely.

What is it that you liked the most or what do you remember most fondly?

On one hand, some teachers with whom I have later had the honor of working, and on the other hand, colleagues who have become great friends, and with some of them I also have the luck to continue working hand in hand professionally.

How was your experience with the curricular internships? Where did you do them?

I did my curricular internships in the Digital Marketing department of Condé Nast (currently the Consumer Revenue department) and since then almost 9 years have passed. I started by managing the paid media strategy, audience acquisition, qualification, and retention, and over the years I have specialized in e-commerce as well. Almost 4 years ago, we launched Vogue’s online fashion store, Vogue Collection, which had only been operating in Germany until then, and almost 2 years ago I became involved in the affiliate/content commerce business line, where I currently work with a team of several writers as Head of Affiliates, while continuing with my audience objectives as Head of Digital Marketing. Also, as I mentioned earlier, I have the pleasure of being a professor of marketing & e-commerce in various courses at Vogue College of Fashion, both online and in-person, and it is another aspect of my professional career that I enjoy a lot, I like not stopping learning and also being able to share that knowledge.

What do you think is the most important thing you learned for the work you are currently doing?

I believe that teamwork is crucial; you can move quickly on your own, but you can only go far when you are accompanied. There is no project, no matter how big or small, that is possible without collaboration. Every time we were presented with a case study or had the opportunity to visit a brand and they told us about the product creation process, from design to the workshop and finally to the store and the customer, it involves so many professionals that I understood that everything is a chain and that each link is equally important. That, and that you must always keep training, reading, listening to podcasts, watching movies, etc.
