Learning from the best, experiencing fashion from the inside, and discovering its most global dimension—Patricia, a former student of the Master in Fashion Image, opens up about an experience that blended learning from top professionals, building key industry connections, and a creative immersion in New York that marked a turning point in her career.

Why did you decide to enroll in the Vogue Master in Fashion Image?

I chose the Vogue Master in Fashion Image because I was looking for a prestigious program that would allow me to dive deep into the visual universe of fashion from a professional and contemporary perspective. The connection with Vogue gave me the confidence that I would learn from working experts, take part in real-world projects, and build a strong portfolio—essential elements for growing in fields such as styling, art direction, and brand image. In addition, the program’s practical approach and the networking opportunities with professionals in the industry made it the ideal choice to strengthen my creative profile and open new doors within the fashion world.

What was your experience like during the course?

The experience was enriching in every sense—not only professionally but also on a personal level. Every project and every exchange with industry professionals helped me grow, discover new perspectives, and strengthen my creative vision. But beyond academic learning, the master’s program gave me the chance to connect with people who shared similar passions and aspirations, with whom I’ve built very special bonds. These friendships are still a part of my life today, and I’m sure they’ll continue to be a part of both my personal and professional journey.

What did you enjoy the most, or what do you remember most fondly?

One of the experiences I enjoyed the most was the trip to New York. Not only for the chance to explore the city and walk its avenues, but for the opportunity to feel firsthand the energy and passion for fashion that fills the air there. Every neighborhood, every shop window, and every creative space carried a unique intensity that made the trip truly inspiring.
And one of the experiences I remember most fondly was my internship. I was incredibly lucky to do it with Ingrid de la Puente, Manager of the TTG department, and working alongside her was a true privilege. I learned so much from her—both professionally and personally—and she always made me feel part of the team, including me in every project and giving me the opportunity to contribute as an equal.

One reason to take this course

One of the main reasons to pursue this master’s is the desire to learn from the inside—to understand creative processes and closely observe how today’s trendsetters actually work. This program is the perfect opportunity to grow, get inspired, and build a solid foundation under the guidance of top-tier professionals with outstanding careers.

What do you think was the most important thing you learned for your professional future?

The most important thing I learned was how the fashion industry really works behind the scenes: the importance of teamwork, adaptability, and applying creativity to real projects. I also learned to trust my own judgment, stand up for my ideas, and navigate demanding professional environments—especially thanks to the internship, where I was fully integrated into the team and witnessed how a professional fashion image is built from start to finish.

Any advice for students currently enrolled in the program?

My biggest advice is to take advantage of every opportunity: every class, every project, and every connection. The master’s program gives you direct access to incredibly experienced professionals, so soak up as much as you can from them. And above all, enjoy the process: the people you meet, the experiences you live, and the work you create.

Your creative talent deserves a global stage.
