In an industry in constant transformation, innovation has become the true engine of change. And Ernesto Naranjo—designer and lecturer at Vogue College of Fashion—perfectly embodies this new generation redefining the codes of Spanish fashion.
His creative universe, shaped by experimentation, volume and the construction of distinctive narratives, is grounded in a key idea: fashion is not merely garment, it is language. A vision that has led him to establish himself as one of the most innovative designers on today’s scene.
This approach has recently been recognised at the 3rd edition of the Spanish Fashion Academy Awards, an initiative created to highlight and celebrate the breadth of national fashion talent. The awards honour career achievements, creativity, and the technical and professional excellence of all players within the sector, further reinforcing Spanish fashion as a cultural industry and a creative force with international reach.
Driven by the Spanish Fashion Academy Foundation, the awards mark a milestone within the industry: fashion recognising its own talent and strengthening its visibility both within Spain and beyond.
Within this context, Ernesto Naranjo, together with ManéMané, received the award for Best Presentation: New Formats. Naranjo + ManéMané is an exhibition proposal that brings together two creative universes, moving beyond the collection to reveal the processes and narratives behind it, and exploring new ways of communicating fashion through a contemporary and innovative lens.

A way of understanding fashion that speaks directly to what the industry demands today: designers who not only create, but also conceptualise, experiment and build narratives.
At the same time, his international presence continues to grow. During the promotion of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Madrid, actress Zendaya chose one of his designs—a striking red look with tulle detailing—placing his work firmly in the global spotlight and demonstrating how new Spanish fashion is increasingly engaging with contemporary culture.

Additionally, at Vogue College of Fashion, we had the privilege of welcoming Ernesto as a guest at the graduation toast for our students of the Vogue Master’s in International Luxury Business and the Vogue Master’s in Fashion Design and Brand Creation and Management. It was an opportunity for him to share his creative vision and industry experience up close with the next generation of professionals.

Between innovation, recognition and a direct connection to the classroom, Ernesto Naranjo today represents a different way of understanding fashion: more open, more narrative-driven, and above all, deeply contemporary.
And at Vogue College of Fashion, this way of thinking—and creating—is experienced from within.
