Could you share a little about your background and current work?
I’m from Mumbai, India and my career started behind the camera in the film industry. However, I always felt like my true calling was elsewhere. I was yearning for something more fulfilling, and that’s what fashion is to me.
The pandemic turned out to be a blessing in disguise. My mother encouraged me to start creating content and collaborating with brands during the lockdown.
Today, I’m thankful to be working as a fashion and beauty content creator with some of the global brands I once admired from afar and had on my vision board. I’ve had the privilege to work with brands like L’Oréal Paris, Victoria’s Secret, H&M India, Marks & Spencer India, Bath and Body Works, Sol de Janeiro, Mango, United Colors of Benetton and Maybelline.
What made you choose Vogue College of Fashion for your studies?
I’ve always dreamed of pursuing my passion for fashion and beauty abroad and finally decided to take the leap. It was a vast difference from studying political science, which was the only option available for me in Mumbai.
Fashion gave me my wings, and discovering Vogue College on Instagram was life changing. I’m grateful for the guidance provided to me by my teachers at the College—they’ve been instrumental in shaping my path.
Which course did you enroll in and why?
I enrolled in Vogue’s 5 Days of Beauty Business course as it perfectly aligned with my future goals. As a fashion and beauty content creator and influencer, I wanted to expand my horizons and gain a deeper understanding of PR and marketing.
My ultimate vision is to establish my own business and a social media marketing firm, and this course helped me to take the first step towards that dream.

Can you share an example of an assignment that you particularly enjoyed?
I loved the group project where we created a Vogue December 2025 issue. Collaborating with students from different courses was the best—it was incredible to see how different minds can come together and create something beautiful.
I’m grateful to our course leader, Sophie Cullen, for guiding us and sharing her expertise. She provided me with amazing feedback before my presentation, which gave me a lot of confidence in my work.
What were the most valuable skills you gained during the course?
The course helped me take the leap from having ideas to sharing them with the world. I gained confidence in putting my work out there and building relationships with like-minded people.
Working with women from different countries, backgrounds and industries—some of whom were entrepreneurs—was truly inspiring and empowering. It made me feel like I belonged and could achieve anything I set my mind to.
At Vogue College, I finally found an environment where my vision and ideas were understood and valued.
Describe your favorite day of the course. Where did you go, who did you meet?
Every day was special, but if I had to pick one, it’d be the day we had a lecture by members of the Condé Nast team including Aimee Ker, Eamon Holley and Drew Burns. Two lines from the talk that resonated with me were, “Write a letter to yourself every six months and see what you’ve accomplished,” and “If there’s a car waiting for you, get into it.”
Another memorable moment was a conversation I had with our course faculty, Teresa Havvas. She made me feel like part of the Vogue College family, and speaking with her gave me the confidence that I was on the right path.
How has the program contributed to your professional growth?
Studying at Vogue College has honestly changed my life.
The guidance from industry experts and mentors has been priceless, and I have a notebook full of notes from the course that I still refer to when I’m feeling stuck. I’ve had the chance to get hands-on experience in the industry, build a network of like-minded creatives, and develop skills that will help me achieve my current and future goals.
