Could you share a little about your background and current work?
With a background in business administration and a lifelong love for beauty, I’ve built a career where creativity meets strategy. As the social media manager at Hey, Beauty! in Greece, I bring that blend to life every day.
For me, beauty has never been just about products. It’s about identity, self-expression and the confidence we project to the world. In the digital space, every look, shade and ritual tells a story.
My role is to shape those stories, connecting people not only to beauty but to the feeling of empowerment it inspires. Beauty is timeless, but with the power of storytelling, it becomes transformative.
What made you choose Vogue College of Fashion for your studies?
Choosing Vogue College of Fashion was not just an academic decision; it was the fulfilment of a lifelong dream. As a devoted reader and admirer of Vogue for as long as I can remember, I had always been inspired by the magazine’s unique ability to merge beauty, fashion and culture into something truly iconic.
Studying under the guidance of its distinguished experts was an opportunity to step into the world I had admired from afar for so long.
Which course did you enroll in and why?
I enrolled in the 5 Days of Beauty Business course. Selecting this course was a natural choice as a way to strengthen my skills and gain new insights to elevate my career in the beauty industry.
As someone already working in the field, I wanted to go beyond practice and explore the business side of beauty to learn how creativity, strategy and innovation come together to shape the industry.
Describe your favorite day of the program. Where did you go, who did you meet?
One day stands out most vividly, thanks to our course leader Teresa Havvas and her extraordinary energy. Her lecture on the principles of fashion and beauty branding, creative communication, PR and innovative partnerships was unforgettable.
Teresa is a rare kind of teacher—her passion fills the room, and her insights feel both visionary and deeply practical. She didn’t just explain frameworks; she invited us to see the world of beauty and fashion through a lens of creativity, strategy and emotion.
Her approach reminded me that beauty is not just created, it is communicated and experienced. The people and stories behind brands are just as important as the products themselves.
Equally impactful was course faculty Timothy Rennie’s Introduction to still life. His lecture was a masterclass in seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary.
His bright, energetic approach made every composition and detail feel alive with possibility. It wasn’t merely about arranging objects; it was about storytelling and how light, color and perspective can transform the way we experience beauty.
What was your day-to-day experience like?
Each day was a blend of creativity, inspiration and discovery. Mornings often began with engaging lectures that challenged the way we think about beauty, fashion and branding, while afternoons were filled with hands-on workshops and practical exercises that allowed us to bring ideas to life.
The pace was fast but invigorating—no two days were the same. Some sessions focused on strategy, marketing and creative communication, while others encouraged experimentation with styling, still life and visual storytelling.
Between classes, there was always space to connect with peers from around the world, exchange ideas and form lasting creative bonds.
How has the program contributed to your growth, either professionally or academically?
The program has had a profound impact on my professional growth. Since returning to my role as social media manager at Hey, Beauty!, I’ve been able to apply the insights, strategies and creative approaches I learned directly to my work.
For example, the knowledge I gained helped me plan and execute the Christmas collection for the brand, from conceptualizing the visual storytelling to aligning marketing and communication strategies.
The creative aspect of the photoshoot was particularly inspiring. From styling and composition to capturing the right mood and narrative, I was able to bring a new level of artistry and cohesion to our campaign.
Beyond immediate projects, the program gave me a renewed perspective on creativity, branding and audience engagement. It reminded me why I love working in beauty and empowered me to approach my work with fresh ideas, confidence and vision.
