Undergraduate Admissions
BA (Hons) Degree
Academic Entry Requirements
For UK applicants, a minimum of 120 UCAS tariff points is required for entry. Your predicted or confirmed grades can be calculated using the UCAS Tariff points system.
For international applicants, the entry requirement is the equivalent of UK A-Level grades BBB. If you’re not sure whether your qualifications meet this, don’t worry — just get in touch with us. We’ll be happy to check for you, and if needed, we can ask UK ENIC to review your qualifications at no cost. You’ll hear back from us within 5 working days.
English Language Requirements
International applicants are required to demonstrate proficiency in English at CEFR Level B2. Test result certificates must accompany applications and are required for all international students (EU included).
You can meet this requirement through a range of qualifications, including school qualifications, English language tests, pre-sessional/English Foundation programmes, and Secure English Language Tests (SLTs). Below, please find the minimum required scores for our most commonly submitted English Language assessments:
- IELTS Academic: 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
- TOEFL (IBT): 72 overall, with a minimum of 18 in Reading, 17 in Writing, 17 in Listening, and 20 in Speaking
- Pearson (PTE) Academic: 59 overall and in all components
Please contact the Admissions Team for guidance if you are planning to take (or have completed) another test. For a full list of accepted school qualifications and English language tests, please review the guidance linked here.
If you are from, or have completed a qualification in, a majority English-speaking country, you may be exempt from the need to provide additional evidence of your English language ability. Please see the UK Government guidance here.
Age Requirement
You need to be aged 18 on 01 September at the start of the academic year in which your chosen course starts.

Here are some tips to help you make your statement vibrant and interesting here.
