Accommodation

NYU Summer Housing, Manhattan, NY

Vogue College of Fashion has secured a limited number of beds at NYU Summer Housing for residential students taking part in the Summer Program in New York. Please note there is an additional accommodation fee, and availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Residential students will be housed in NYU Coral Tower residence, located in an exciting area of NYC – within a few blocks of Union Square, Gramercy Park, and the East Village.  With great bus and subway links, classes at 570 Lexington Ave are just 15 to 20 minutes away.  

Students will stay within a multi-occupancy room with a bathroom and access to shared facilities including kitchen facilities. The residence also benefits from onsite staff and common social and study areas. Bedding (including pillow and duvet) and kitchen essentials are provided.   

Residential students will be required to complete an NYU housing registration. An email will be sent from the program team with instructions on how and when to do this once registration is open. 

Pre-Departure Orientation

Virtual pre-departure orientations will take place on May 20.  During this session, you will meet members of the Vogue College of Fashion Program Team, learn what to expect during the Program, and have the opportunity to ask any questions ahead of arrival.

Duration: approximately 60 minutes.

Admitted Students will receive a Zoom link from the Program team in advance of their pre-departure orientation date. If you are unable to attend live, a recording may be made available afterwards.

Fashion Business

Program Start Date: Monday, June 29

Accommodation Move-In Date: Monday, June 29. If you are in Vogue College of Fashion, provided housing, you will check into your housing on this day.

Mandatory Orientation: Tuesday, June 30

Classes Start Day: Wednesday, July 1

Last Day of Course: Thursday, July 23

Program End Date: Friday, July 24. If you are in Vogue College of Fashion -provided housing, you will check out of housing on this day.  

Class Schedule

Classes will start no earlier than 10:00 AM and will end by 4:00 PM, except for day trips and some co-curricular activities. You should anticipate being in class four times a week to complete these intensive courses.

There are no mandatory academic commitments during the evenings or on weekends.

Please note assessments for the course must be submitted at the end of the program. Your faculty and Program team will provide additional information about submission deadlines and requirements during your Vogue College of Fashion academic orientation.

Each summer session has multiple courses running concurrently. This means that Orientation, the Arrival and End of Program Celebrations, and certain co-curricular activities will include students from all courses. Additionally, students residing in accommodation arranged by Vogue College of Fashion will share the same residence with other Summer Program students.

Canvas Access – Community Page 

Your Canvas Community page will be available to you in April after you have completed the admissions process. The Canvas Community page is your one-stop shop resource for all your Program details from move-in day to the end of the Program. It includes Program Team contact information, Housing details, Health and Safety Information, Travel information and what to bring. Upon access to the Canvas Community page, please familiarise yourself with the contents and be sure to contact the Program Team with any questions.
